Set on a beautiful bay, Oban is home to countless seafood and fish and chip restaurants. You’d be mad not to sample a few during your stay!
If you fancy something, well – fancy – head to Ee-Usk , Lorne Bar or the Waterfront Fishouse Restaurant to enjoy the freshest Scottish fish and seafood in wonderful surroundings.
If you’re after a classy Scottish chippy, we recommend The Oban Fish and Chip Shop, Nories, or the George street Fish Restaurant and Chip Shop.
For a really authentic Oban experience though, you really must pay a visit to the Oban Seafood Hut also known as the Green Shack on Calmac pier for super fresh oysters, lobster and prawns plus sandwiches and more to grab and go.
