So you’ve arrived with us at Ben Nevis Holiday Park, and you’ve probably brought a wee bit of food and drink with you. But where can you go to stock up around these parts?
To make it easy we’ve rounded up all the nearest shops and supermarkets, whether you’re cooking up a feast in your well-kitted out kitchen, or rustling up something simple on your camping stove.
Brilliant butchers
Firing up the BBQ? Meat lovers should check out Lochaber Larder – tucked away on Blar Mhor Industrial Estate just round the corner in Caol. This little gem stocks great fresh meat produce as well as top notch haggis!
First class fishmongers
On the very same estate you’ll also find Iain Stewart Fishmongers – superb quality produce and friendly and knowledgable staff. Stock up on Scottish fish and seafood from fresh scallops to smoked salmon.
Value and convenience
Farmfoods on the A830 is your very closest food shop – great if you’re staying in one of our lodges with a fridge freezer. If you head into Fort William however, you’ll find all manner of supermarkets including an M&S Foodhall and an Aldi on the A82. Further into town you’ll find a Morrissons and a Lidl. If you’re in Caol there is a Co-op and a McColls.
